All Saints Church - Leighton Buzzard - Grade I Listed
Current Works involve the repair and re-pointing of the tower. Initial exploratory work  revealed deep voids within the tower wall construction. A detailed radar survey was carried out to locate the position and size of voids within the walls which are being filled with an appropriate grout inserted under low pressure. Stainless steel rods will be inserted into the wall to bind the structure together.

St. Pauls Church - Bedford - Grade II Listed

This picture shows one off the principal beams over the chancel. The chancel was raised up in 1878-9 to plans by G.G.Scott Jnr., an inspection of the beams in 1999 revealed large splits and shrinkage which had left many of the rafters un-supported. The splits in the timber beams were succesfully stitched, the rafters re-housed into the beams, and the decorative scheme conserved.

St. James Church - Goffs Oak

A robust Victorian church of muscular gothic style, but lacking modern facilities and easy access for the disabled. A new scheme is proposed to provide an extension at the West end of the church, comprising a meeting room, disabled persons toilet, coffee making facilities and level access to the church.

The Michael Dales Partnership looks after a number of churches in Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire. The churches are from a variety of periods and nearly all are either in the process of carrying out repair works or contemplating small projects. Current projects include masonry repairs, window repairs, kitchen refurbishments, provision of facilities for the disabled, and the installation of Aumbries.
