The practice was invited to design a scheme to extend this Listed cottage. Planning permission and Listed Building consent were successfully obtained and the works completed. |

REBUILDING OF FIRE DAMAGED LISTED COTTAGE AT SHILLINGTON |

The practice was asked to prepare reinstatement proposals for this Listed thatch cottage following a serious fire which had left much of the building gutted. All repairs were carried out using traditional materials and methods utilising green oak , wattle and daub, and a new thatch roof. |
